I am developing AI powered business models since beginning of 2023, when a student has asked me, if I support him developing a business around his idea to connect Chat GPT with WhatsApp.
The result was mind blowing as we developed a solution for blind people to see with the help of smart phone.
My key learnings from developing AI powered Business Models
👉 Move faster than expected: the boldest pushes often set the pace.
👉 Shorten the gap from idea to reality: use AI to test, build
👉 Let learning compound: every iteration feeds the next breakthrough.
👉 Fast brainstorming: Preparing for meetings and creating storylines
👉 Preparing for meetings: Creating powerful questions in advance
👉 AI, the strategic threat to the established orders.
Over time I have learned a lot from leaders in various branches.
AI shortens the gap from „Idea to Reality“
Nico Rosberg meeting Sam Altman
Last night, I had the chance to surprise Sam Altman, the man who turned tomorrow into today! As CEO and founder of OpenAI, he’s now part of our daily lives through The Sales Mind. At the Axel Springer Award in Berlin, an evening dedicated to celebrating Sam and all he has done for our industry and innovation, I was super honored to join him on stage. (For context, previous winners include Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and his best friend Elon Musk.)
It’s well known he’s a huge Formula 1 fan, and the parallels between racing and AI are super clear, speed and innovation being two of them. In the technology race where Sam is, he’s a leader and, in my eyes, already a multiple world champion. And after hearing rumours that he has my dream car in his garage (a Mcalren F1 from the 90s), I offered to drive Sam to the office in „the fastest commute of his life“. Watch this space 😉.
With ChatGPT breaking through 750 million weekly active users, it’s redefining our futures. And it’s impressive that a tech CEO is also super responsible when warning governments to regulate AI (I have more to say on that topic soon).
That forward-thinking, innovative mindset is exactly what I bring into Rosberg Ventures. Some of the biggest lessons I see from Sam’s journey:
👉 Move faster than expected: the boldest pushes often set the pace.
👉 Shorten the gap from idea to reality: use AI to test, build, and scale at record speed.
👉 Let learning compound: every iteration feeds the next breakthrough.
Across our network, AI is compressing timelines everywhere: turning week-long market scans into same-day insights, shrinking prototypes from weeks to days, and scaling multilingual support to 24/7 without extra headcount.
Sam’s work really accelerates everything, transforming how companies are built, how investors analyse, and how quickly ideas become reality. In F1, changing the game might be the perfect lap or a breakthrough design; in technology, it’s daring to move faster than anyone thought possible (and proving it works).
Beyond the business learnings, I’m also super grateful that Sam (and ChatGPT) have upped my storytelling game at home. Instead of reading Cinderella for the hundredth time to my daughters, with ChatGPT in 30seconds, I invent new Nico the Unicorn stories every day. They are such awesome and inspirational stories for them. ChatGPT has given me some of the most loving and memorable moments with my kids. And they think I’m a hero because they think I’m the best story writer in the world!!!
What do you use ChatGPT for most in your daily life? I’d love to know in the comments…
